Andrew Gerrand 5353e1ef96 doc: trim spaces from code snippets 
gofmt likes to put lines like
  // STOP OMIT
two blank lines from a closing brace, creating an ugly space inside
<pre> blocks in some of these files. This change resolves this issue.
