Nigel Tao 3a0cda43a4 image/draw: have draw.Src preserve NRGBA colors
This reverts a behavior change introduced in Go 1.18 (commit 9f69a443;
CL 340049). In Go 1.17 and earlier, draw.Draw(etc, draw.Src) with
image.NRGBA dst and src images would pass through a (heap allocated)
color.Color interface value holding a color.NRGBA concrete value.
Threading that color.NRGBA value all the way through preserves
non-premultiplied alpha transparency information (distinguishing e.g.
transparent blue from transparent red).

CL 340049 optimized out that heap allocation (per pixel), calling new
SetRGBA64At and RGBA64At methods instead. However, these methods (like
the existing image/color Color.RGBA method) work in premultiplied alpha,
so any distinction between transparent colors is lost.

This commit re-introduces the preservation of distinct transparencies,
when dst and src are both *image.NRGBA (or both *image.NRGBA64) and the
op is draw.Src.

And then revert the bootstrap cmd directories and certain testdata.
And adjust tests as needed.

Not reverting the changes in std that are bootstrapped,
because some of those changes would appear in API docs,
and we want to use any consistently.
Instead, rewrite 'any' to 'interface{}' in cmd/dist for those directories
when preparing the bootstrap copy.

A few files changed as a result of running gofmt -w
not because of interface{} -> any but because they
hadn't been updated for the new //go:build lines.

Nigel Tao 8e3d5f0bb3 image/draw: rename and reorder some benchmarks
The intention is for BenchmarkFooBar functions to map 1:1 to drawFooBar
functions. Recent draw.go changes have added more drawFooBar functions
and have further modified the mapping, as fallback drawFooBar functions
aren't invoked as often as they used to.

This commit restores the 1:1 mapping and reorganizes the BenchmarkFooBar
functions in the same order as the matching drawFooBar functions appear.

Also modify a TestDraw test case from vgradGreen(255) = {0, 136, 0, 255}
to vgradGreen(90) = {0, 48, 0, 90}. Doing so matches the existing "The
source pixel is {0, 48, 0, 90}" comment but also makes for a more
interesting test case, as the source pixel is no longer fully opaque.
Fully opaque is already covered by the vgradGray() test case on the next
line.

Also fix a "variable source" comment copy-pasto when the source image is
actually uniform, not variable.

Also add a func DrawMask type switch comment about interface types.

Artyom Pervukhin 7a8e8b2f19 image/draw, image/color: optimize hot path sqDiff function
Function sqDiff is called multiple times in the hot path (x, y loops) of
drawPaletted from the image/draw package; number of sqDiff calls is
between 4×width×height and 4×width×height×len(palette) for each
drawPaletted call.

Simplify this function by removing arguments comparison and relying
instead on signed to unsigned integer conversion rules and properties of
unsigned integer values operations guaranteed by the spec:

> For unsigned integer values, the operations +, -, *, and << are
> computed modulo 2n, where n is the bit width of the unsigned integer's
> type. Loosely speaking, these unsigned integer operations discard high
> bits upon overflow, and programs may rely on ``wrap around''.

image/gif package benchmark that depends on the code updated shows
throughput improvements:

Nigel Tao c2023a0791 image/color: tweak the YCbCr to RGBA conversion formula.
Before, calling the RGBA method of YCbCr color would return red values
in the range [0x0080, 0xff80]. After, the range is [0x0000, 0xffff] and
is consistent with what Gray colors' RGBA method returns. In particular,
pure black, pure white and every Gray color in between are now exactly
representable as a YCbCr color.

This fixes a regression from Go 1.4 (where YCbCr{0x00, 0x80, 0x80} was
no longer equivalent to pure black), introduced by golang.org/cl/8073 in
the Go 1.5 development cycle. In Go 1.4, the +0x80 rounding was not
noticable when Cb == 0x80 && Cr == 0x80, because the YCbCr to RGBA
conversion truncated to 8 bits before multiplying by 0x101, so the
output range was [0x0000, 0xffff].

The TestYCbCrRoundtrip fuzzy-match tolerance grows from 1 to 2 because
the YCbCr to RGB conversion now maps to an ever-so-slightly larger
range, along with the usual imprecision of accumulating rounding errors.

Also s/int/int32/ in ycbcr.go. The conversion shouldn't overflow either
way, as int is always at least 32 bits, but it does make it clearer that
the computation doesn't depend on sizeof(int).

Nigel Tao b2f29511dd image/internal/imageutil: new package, used by image/draw and image/jpeg.
The imageutil.DrawYCbCr function lives in an internal package because it
is needed by both the image/draw and image/jpeg packages, but it doesn't
seem right for one of those two to depend on the other.

It could eventually go into the image package, but that would require
committing to an API for the rest of Go 1.x.

https://go-review.googlesource.com/#/c/1876/ introduced a new
TestClipWithNilMP test, along with a code change that fixed a panic,
but the existing TestClip test already contained almost enough machinery
to cover that bug.

There is a small code change in this CL, but it is a no-op: (*x).y is
equivalent to x.y for a pointer-typed x, but the latter is cleaner.
